Nithya das came to the movie through the recommendation of Manju warrior. Parakkum Thalika was Nithya das's first film in Malayalam. But she  acted in a telefilm called Kunjammaan before. Nithya who was heroine in Dileep film Ee Parakam Thalika was requested by the latter to come in a single song sequence in Kunjikoonan Navya Nair was the heroine. Nithya did a small role in kunjikuunan but it was very noticeable. Nithya did her Pre-degree in Calicut MES womens college. Recently she have acted in Nariman and Kanmashi.
